Xander was not having a good day, his feet were killing him, his non-eye was itchy as hell and to cap it all of it was nearing the anniversary of Anya's death, oh how he was dreading tomorrow. He hoped he could sleep through it or at the very least find something to take his mind off it, work certainly wouldn't do it, though that could be because he had no work tomorrow. He grabbed a can of soda from the fridge, he had been trying to cut back on the beer, and collapsed on the comfy chair in front of the TV. He grabbed the remote and turned it on.

"Oh great, the Golden Girls" he said very unenthusiastically. He didn't hate the show, he just wasn't in the mood to see 4 horny grandmothers. But on the other hand there was nothing else on so he'd watch it. He hoped someone would come and help stop the crushing boredom that could lead to the crushing sadness if left to simmer.

A loud crash broke through the Golden Girls on TV, as a woman a bit older that him, came flying through the window, broke a table and made a nice clean spot of floor as she went straight over it. Her arms were covered in scars and even one on beneath her black top that had squeezed up a bit. Her brown leather jeans were ripped a bit from a table chair that pointed deadly out in the air. Her lip were bleeding and the left eye properly would be twice as big tomorrow. The woman were very ordinary looking, except the scars and the beating she had just taken, though it looked like she didn't care, as she shook her head a bit to stop the spinning world, before he quickly got up.
"Now that wasn't nice. I'm the one thats gonna pay for that Sucker!" She shouted out of the open window before she jumped out herself, with the leg of the table as a weapon. It were pitch black outside, though it was only an hour after sundown. In the glow of a street lamp a brown duster was lying and a single shotgun had been thrown there halfway in and halfway out in the dark. Tess hurried to look around lure the damn thing into the streetlights, where it would be more even. She were a smart one, leading her here where she couldn't be seen, and now she had to explain to the family in that house. Even more the reason to kill that SoB, if she just could outsmart him. She could here his laughter somewhere but he was a real sadist that loved to make her uncomfortable.
There he were in the spotlight across the street. She had to be seen this way, but she had to take the chance. She ran as fast as she could across the street, and with her big bad combat boots for women she jumped high up and spun around, trying to kick the Sucker while she let the "stake" come right after her leg. The vampire looked at her with his twisted face and with much ease, he took a grip in her foot, and threw her away like she were trash. She hid the street lamp right next to his, and fell down, couching a bit. Why did she keep on hunting like this?
((I wrote SoB, as Tess curse almost all the time, and this is my way to tone it down.))

The crash jolted Xander out of his chair, and he just stared blankly at the woman who had crashed into his home and at the window that was now much less of a window. OK he was so gonna have fun repairing that, "I second that" he yelled at, whatever this woman was yelling at. He had no idea what he was yelling at but yelling at it was fun. He didn't have time to talk to the woman because wshe was out the window before he could open his mouth. OK that was just rude. He stepped carefully ove to the shattered window and watched as she fought the vampire that had obviously thrown her up here. He saw her hit the pole "Hang on I'll be right down to help" he yelled before running to his door, grabbing a splintered table leg and his keys and running as fast as his legs would carry him to the front door of the apartment building heading to help the person who had just been thrown into his room. OK that sounded odd even to Xander

((not really i guess, its just many admins and mod who like post were cursing is a major part of it. And some even have such words censured. And if there is one thing I have to see, it is when a post doesn't make any sense because its either f*** or *Shady business* or whatever the word changes to.^^ So I usually do it just in case.))
The "stake" slowly left her hand, as she fell down the pole, and couching came op again. Apparently someone had been in there, she had heard a some words just said to be said, which where something Tess never understood the point in. What was it he had said just before now? The world were blurry and it did hurt just thinking, so she looked up towards the door instead, and actually saw him come running. Oh god, weren't it enough that she put her life on the life every time? now she had to take care of some dude. She didn't see much of him, for her blurry eyes and she kept on shaking her head a bit. She hid her own stake and walked towards the middle sucker of the five identical there had just arrived. This was getting harder every time. As the Vampire just looked at the new guy for a second, she dropped the stake in her pants behind her, and walked towards him like she was going to fight him, fist on fist. "Come on Sucker. You're ugly as hell, and stink like death. Do you have to slap like my granny too?" She didn't have a granny, but the Vampire didn't knew that, and she had fun. A wide grin grossed her lips and she came all the way to him, hoping to spare the kids life. Not that she had any way f knowing how old he was, until he could get some ice on her head and eye, and a whiskey down her throat but again. Most people were kid in Tess eyes. Once again she shook her head to make the world go still, and the five to one just for thirty seconds, which were enough for her to throw a punch, which were completely useless. But Tess had a plan, which were the only reason she had lived this long, they were always a chance but Tess weren't like other girls. She needed to have fun.

Xander ran out and spotted a group of 5 vampires, against one person. "OK that's not fair, there's only five of them. Now we can't share equally" he said as he stood beside the woman who'd crashed into his room "I'm Xander by the way" he said before running towards the pack of 5 and tackling the one on the far right. When he got that vamp to the floor he pounded his fists into the vamps face. "Oh this is fun" he yelled, ok so he was enjoying this a little, so?
When Xander felt that the vamp had had enough he grabbed his makeshift stake and rammed it, pointy bit first, into the chest cavity. A whoosh sound and some dust was all he got in return. Now they were down to 4. He stood up and looked at the four remaining vampires who seemed dumbfounded (And just plain dumb) that he had done what he had just done. "What d'ya think, better odds now?" he yelled to the woman who broke into his window.

the sucker Tess didn't even blink when he grapped her fist head on, and hold her in a tight grip. Quickly she took her stake and punshed it in his heart with all her streangh making only dust appear. "Nah. Don't worry about it, just loot them before you smoke them, I need the money for your window." A faint smile appeared as she turned around and punshed arother vampire down to the ground as he stood and just stirred almost blindly at the guy, who apparently knew how things were working. *Fine, I don't need to look out for the kid anyway.* She jumped at him, and took the wallet throwing it far away, when the first vampire came over the chock of the newly dinner walking straight into them, and suddenly knew everything he needed to know. Those two people actually fought back, and now their leader were gone they had to determine a new one. She nailed one to dust, before another one grapped her and began throwing her across the street one more time. Damn this was getting harder every time.

Xander smiled "Ah the old loot and stake, a classic. Got it" he said, before heading for the next weak looking one, who didn't look particularly weak in the strictest sense but was certainly weaker than the other three...'make that two' he thought as he saw another explode into dust. He punched the vamp he had in mind in the back of the head to get his attention, which worked a little better than Xander would have liked. The vamp swung a mean backhand knocking Xander flying into a nearby wall "OK that's gonna leave a mark" he mumbled as he got up and faced the Vamp, no more Mr nice carpenter. He swung hard at the vampire, making sure he took everything he had ever learned from watching Buffy for years plus what he had learned on his own since the big battle. He kicked the vampires as hard as he could in the kneecaps, then while the Vamp was dealing with that minor pain Xander...took advantage of the fact that the vamp in question was a male. The vamp hit the floor hard, OK so not very sportsmanlike but it got the job done. Xander spotted the wallet in the vamps pocket. He grabbed it and tossed it beside the other one, then put the stake where it belonged, deep in the vamps back. He turned to the woman and saw her fending of a vamp "You need help with that?" he asked, a little out of breath himself and wondering one thing 'I coulda sworn there was one more'

her smile grew bigger as she got up on her legs once again. This were truly fun. She weren't far away from her coat and like she didn't had anything to worry about she walked over to it and in one fluid movement she had it one. If she looked tough before, that duster just made her look all van Helsing. "You are lucky today. If you stay there I might not kill you. I need information." The vampire acted all tough while she came walking towards him, with no worry what so ever in the world. As she came all the way up to him, he slapped out for her. Luckily she had participated that and ducked all the way in next to him, picking up his wallet and with a little smile and a last word she punched the stake into his heart. "Chaio!" As he exploded the dust fell over her, but somehow it seemed like she didn't care. Hell, when one had been in the business as long as her, one learned not to be careful about the looks. She looked frowning around for the last vampire but as there were no one, she shook her shoulders and turned her gaze towards the man. Cause he really were a man, she would say around her age, maybe a few years younger, but it was hard to tell with the eye. She didn't wonder where the last one would go, as Tess usually had that kind of effect on the weakest of the vampires after so many years in the same town. "Damn, they breed like rabbits., you should think they would slow down once they got several lifetimes to go on. I'm Tess by the way. Nice to see someone able to handle himself out here." She walked over to him with a slight grin, and stretched her right hand for a handshake. She hadn't forgot everything, and the few times she watched TV it was there too. Though she had forgotten much, living mostly in the world of darkness that roamed at night, she could never forget such things as common curtsy. At least just the handshake. Who could forget that?

Xander watched as she staked the last vampire, OK clearly his help wasn't needed with that one. He smiled as the dust fell to the floor. He couldn't see any more so that was good. He grabbed her outstretched hand and shook it lightly "I'm Xander, it's good to meet you Tess. I agree these guys breed awful fast, you think you've killed enough that they'd get the point, but no some of them have to try and stand their ground, and may I say the you handled yourself pretty damn well out there too, I'm guessing you're a slayer" he said pointedly, no point in dancing around the obvious. "Well why don't you tell me all about yourself while I get some bandages and soda from my apartment, though could we possibly use the door?" he said as he dramatically gestured towards the door of his apartment building.

Tess grin faded to a grim face as soon as the slayer word escaped his lips. She looked up the door, and still very silent she took up the wallets and looked them through for contents. She quickly took all the money and counted them through and with a slight sigh she gave him 2/3 of the bunch. "I'm not a damn slayer. They have so many powers and stuff they forget to think. If I were a slayer I wouldn't have survived this long. Here, I think that should pay for the window." She looked up once again and caught his gaze. He had known slayers before, and still he couldn't believe a normal human being could hunt down those things?! She found that hard to believe, but he had just sit indoor when she had broken through the window. Finally as she went with him to the door, she grinned again, a small grin that made her look a bit younger, but still let the lines around her eyes, tell that she weren't that young anymore. "But I take it as a compliment Xander. once again sorry for you window, and I think the table leg is yours." She handed over the table leg with some dust in the cracks, and on their way she pulled up her shotgun. Such a noisy but lovely thing.

Xander took the money calmly and quickly threw his hand in the air, in a surrender motion "It was an honest mistake. I meant it as a compliment but...OK it backfired spectacularly" he said with a smile hoping that maybe a smile might diffuse the situation, it had worked for him in the past. "OK so it didn't backfire what so I know, and you know what, keep it, call it a souvenir of your short stay at the Harris household" he said, he could always make a new table if he had to, plus he had some spare wood, he should be able to fix the old one in a fairly short amount of time "And don't you pay any more thought about that window, the money taken from those vamps will pay for it easily, no harm done. As long as nobody with a pulse is hurt all is well" he took his keys out and unlocked the main door that had locked itself behind him when he'd left "Damn security measures, you'd think it was dangerous to be out at night" he said dryly before opening the door and gesturing dramatically towards the inside of his apartment building "After you"
